The villa, its location and the surrounding area were all excellent. Fantastic views and very peaceful. Cristina was her usual helpful self and dealt with a problem that had evolved before we arrived. If we had to find a fault, the villa deserves a really good walk in shower, but that is only because it would suit us.

Sorry it’s taken so long to complete, mislaid it. (Stayed Oct 07) Glad to be able to say we had no complaints in fact quite the contrary, we have nothing but praise. The villa was fantastic, it was everything we wanted, although the pool water was a bit on the chilly side and the downstairs bathroom shower was, let’s say compact, kept knocking the power off when washing, turning around. It was great to be able to go out in the morning and pick fresh figs off the tree (I can taste them now). Would not hesitate in recommending.

Hi! We enjoyed our holiday despite the weather and the power cuts. The information book asked us to bring in seat cushions at night but we couldn't find any. The sun brolly needs replacing as it does not fit the stand and keeps blowing next door. The residents say this keeps happening but were very nice about it. Could you have a word with the owner. (BEING REPLACED). Beautiful view and was stunning at sun set. A very quiet area which suited us. Thank you for returning the deposit so promptly. Overall a lovely villa.

Thank you also for sending me the issue of the magazine with the photo published in it - it is really nice to have and to show our family and friends.
We were very impressed with the Imperial Park resort. We paid the upgrade to "All Inclusive" which was definitely a good decision as it was really good value and the food (and drink) was delicious. It was also nice not to have to think about shopping or cooking for the week which made it a really relaxing break. The view from the bungalow out to the sea and the rock of Calpe was wonderful and we were really lucky with the weather - clear blue skies and sunshine most days. We swam in the pools (great pool complex) every day. The evenings were on the cool side but that was to be expected in March - it was still significantly better than here (we woke up to snow the day after we returned home)!
Calpe town was nice - the dramatic rock jutting out into the sea gives it a focus and distinguishes it from other coastal towns. Shame about all the high rise hotels though. The beach was nice with soft golden sand and the sea was nice and clean (but freezing cold) - the girls swam in it a number of times.
The resort was very quiet during the week but packed at the weekend with Spanish people (and the second weekend it hosted a biking convention when hundreds of bikers descended on it for the weekend). But in the week it was almost deserted (just us and a handful of other english families) - it felt very "out of season" but that was fine with us.
All in all we had a wonderful relaxing and memorable holiday. It was a lovely surprise to win it (we generally don't enter competitions but maybe we'll change that now!) and we have been really impressed with the helpfulness of everyone concerned with making the arrangements and making it all go so smoothly.
I have attached some photos from the holiday as requested. I have made them low resolution to make the file sizes suitable for emailing - but if you want to use any in the magazine then please let me know which and I can send higher resolution copies. We have many many more so if these aren't the sort you are looking for please let me know and I can send some different ones.

'All in all, excellent, hiccup at start as waited 2 hours to get into villa as wrong key in box. Phoned contact Anja, she was in Germany, she rang Christine who let us in, finally at 8.45pm. She was extremely nice and helpful. T.V blew up, same night, Christine came in with office t.v next day and new one on Monday. Apart from that, fantastic time. We think Villaspain is fantastic value and will be booking again.'

Dear Nick, The Villaspain website photographs, villa description and villa rating makes selection so straightforward. However our expectations based on all this information were exceeded!! Al Zhara is so welcoming with a very warm and personal atmosphere created by the owners. Just like house sitting for a friend, more than renting a villa. I am always impressed with the Villaspain website. It continues to get better and better (if that is possible, but you seem to find ways of helping villa renters more than any other website). In fact I now cease to look anywhere else other than Villaspain. It’s great to find a provider where excellent customer service is the keyword. We had a fantastic holiday (again). I would just like to comment on our local contact Phil Earnshaw. He was fantastic. He told us places to go. Our Sky box wouldn’t work and he came up to our villa to see if we were o.k and because we had children brought his own Sky box and replaced it with the one in the villa. He was the best, helpful, and friendly and knew a lot about the area. He really helped to make this an excellent holiday. We will be booking again for next year.

Clients were extremely appreciative of VillaSpain's services on the ground in Spain and the UK after discovering a gas leak in the villa to be relocated to another very nice villa quickly, since there was no assurance that emergency services could attend quickly.

All excellent. I attach the questionnaire as promised. All in all a good value villa that we may return to, however, I suspect we will go for something different next time if only for a bit of variety!!. This is no reflection on Casa Al Zhara which was more than big enough for us and my boys were delighted they didn’t have to share a room as well!! We enjoyed out first visit to the area and will definitely return.
Thanks for the assistance that VillaSpain gave during the booking process – you and Bruce were very helpful and it made a refreshing change to view “live availability” on your website that could be relied upon whereas so many others promise availability only to find this isn’t the case. I appreciate this is easier with fewer properties but I was impressed with the overall service which definitely gave us a great value for money break at very short notice.  All in all, a lovely villa and excellent website that we have already recommended to numerous friends and family .

Further to our recent VillaSpain holiday I write to record our disappointment that, through no fault of the company, the booked villa became uninhabitable after only two nights due to disconnection of the electrical supply.
Casa Primavera was originally selected as it provided suitable single accommodation to bring together all our children and grandchildren (some from Australia) for a family celebration in one villa.

 I must thank your local staff for their efforts to find a suitable alternative villa but, at such short notice, they could only source two adjacent properties - La Madragada and casa Patrica. These were accepted under the circumstances.

In summary, although we were put to considerable disruption de-camping 4 young children in the pitch dark and approx. 100 euros of food from the fridge/freezer defrosted, your company is to be commended on resolving the problem and providing such high quality substitutes.

Once again I thank you and your local staff for producing a satisfactory solution and would have no hesitation in recommending VillaSpain to our friends..

All in all we had a fantastic holiday in a beautiful location. We loved the cleanliness of the villa and the fact it was extremely private, despite being on a developement. Having a washing machine was a huge bonus, as was the Sky TV, with two children to entertain on the occassional rainy evening. The pool was very well looked after, and was great size for the four of us.

We very much enjoyed our holiday at La Canuta. The accommodation was excellent and the situation of the villa was very nice. There were nine in our party with ages from 18 mths to 87 yrs and the distribution of bedrooms and bathrooms worked out extremely well. It was particularly useful having 2 kitchens available. The whole villa was very comfortable and everybody enjoyed the swimming pool and, for that week, it was excellent value for money. We had excellent service from Villaspain throughout the booking process and we thoroughly enjoyed the holiday. We would certainly recommend Villaspain to our friends and very much hope to book a holiday with you again soon.

Our holiday was wonderful at La Madrugada and we would like to thank you. Our friends were very impressed and like us didn't want to leave. The villa provides home from home facilities, the kitchen equipped for the most discerning chef. Washing machine now in own room, excellent. We struggled abit with the pool cover but by the end of the week were experts! We had raved to our friends about all the lovely books left to read and videos to watch only to discover them removed. Sadly we can only assume that someone pinched them and you understandably decided not to replace. (Villaspain had disposed of them as they were getting old, worn and dated. We are now building up another collection) The safe instructions were a bit complicated, probably because we all got mixed up with left n right! or was it the wine!! would be better to use "clockwise n anti clockwise in instructions. We love the villa and only tell you these things so that you are aware, it is no way a criticism anyone who has the chance to have stayed there would want to come back, its a little part of heaven. We found Villaspain to be very helpful and extremely professional. Your website was easy to use and very informative - it's good to be able to see so many pictures of the villas. I would definitely recommend the company to other people. The villa was excellant overall too with spectacular views of the surrounding hills, valleys and out ot the sea.
