 4) The Moors and Christians fiesta in Moraira is the most famous festival and take place on the 3rd weekend of June in each year. The Moors and Christians fiesta celebrates the banishing of the Moors from Valencia by the Christians. Local people dress up in their finest costumes and parade through the streets to the music of local bands.
